What is the Matriarch Adventure?
FREEDOM, claiming a tiny piece of it, even when you think you can't possibly do something like that, that it's too expensive, too risky, too long, too hot, too uncomfortable.... Let me know the challenges that stand

It was my birthday this week, and my cousin sent through a photo of a 7 year old me.

I look at her with love and wonder. I feel no different.

Still squinting into the sun,
my love of stones a fledgling art,
the rainbow jumper that epitomises me,

Stories are woven under the stars....

and songs, and poems, and dreams.

Every night we gather round the fire to eat and laugh and chat. We have no phones so our faces are lit by flames rather than screens and our smiles are for each other.
